Jones has a great matchup, but I just don't know what his role is on that offense. I'd probably lean Damien and hope they dump off a lot against the Jags.

And am I crazy for wanting to play Marvin over Josh Gordon since idk what’s going on over there.

I think you are, but...I mean, without Pat Pete, Marvin could easily just have a 2 for 115, 2 game just the same.

Lower On: Brees, Winston, Wilson, Jackson

The lists are all over the place right now. I have a Top 10 QB that ranks #18 in ESPN's ranks. There's a fantasy pros Top 6 QB that doesn't make my Top 15. It's crazy. It'll even out thoguh. I'm not tweaking and trusting my rankings theis week.

- Higher On: Todd Gulrey, Devonta Freeman, James White, (ick) Kenyan Drake
- Lower On: Dalvin Cook, James Conner, Le'Veon Bell, Damien Williams

I fully expect McCoy to take over the KC backfield to the point where Williams is just a PPR specialist/flex guy, but others aren't as convinced. We'll see. Dalvin Cook is not good at football, Conner and Bell are going to lose snaps to their passing down counterparts. I just don't see it.

I do, however, see Drake racking up garbage time catches when Miami is down 42-0.

- I kept Antonio ranked right up until he was cut, because I figured they'd change their tune. They did, and then they cut him after he fucked around again. I don't know.

- Higher On: Keenan Allen, TY Hilton, Josh Gordon, Trey Quinn.
- Lower On: Stefon Diggs, Marvin Jones Jr., Will Fuller V, Michael Gallup.

- Okay, back to guys that actually matter this week. Allen is dropped because of Indy's zone converage being great last year, but I think Rivers will be just fine picking it apart today. Possession receivers that can find soft spots should work well in that matchup. I might be too high on Josh Gordon, but this might be the only week to fully unleash him before Antonio crowds everything up. I expect Quinn to lead the Redskins in receptions this season in the Jamison Crowder role, plus with Reed out, more chances are available there, in a game they should be playing from behind.

- Diggs always puts up eggs when he's on the injury report. Start him at your own risk. I've spoken about Jones, but maybe I'm low? I don't know. Fuller is a one trick guy, but he's got a high scoring matchup and he's healthy for once. Michael Gallup I just don't see it with. The Cowboys added Randall Cobb to fill the Beasley role, Zeke and Pollard are both pass catchers and Amari is 95% healthy. I think he's too risk/reward to even consider.

22 TJ Hockinson DET
23 Noah Fant DEN
24 Jason Witten DAL
25 Dallas Goedert PHI

- Higher On: Evan Engram, Austin Hooper
- Lower On; Eric Ebron, George Kittle

The Giants have 3 NFL level skill players active today, so I'm buying into big games for all 3. Hooper is going to own Anthony Barr, and it's not a question. Everyone is fading Matt Ryan, but I fully expect a shootout, and not a defensive battle.

Eric Ebron is back to being a touchdown dependent TE2. And Luck leaving hurts him even more, because of Jacoby's great rapport with Jack Doyle in 2017. I've fading Kittle, not much, but I am. The YAC isn't repeatable, and all of his damage last year was not with Jimmy G at QB. I'll gladly eat my words if it comes to it, but I don't think he's finishing in the Top 5 at the position this season.

So I’m facing a bit of a juggernaut in my .5ppr redraft league, he got a good start with Godwin on Thursday and he’s got Lamar, Sammy Watkins, Conner, Mack, Micheal Thomas, and Mack.

So I think I need to go upside hunting. Current lineup:

QB Josh Allen
Dalvin Cook
Leveon Bell
Allen Robinson
Josh Gordon
Matt Breida
Hockenson

Bench
Curtis Samuel (played)
Mike Williams (Hurt)
Melvin Gordon (lol)
Hollywood Brown
Courtland Sutton
DK Metcalf

So do I play Hollywood? Should I go looking for an even high upside play on the wire? Try to swing a trade for John Ross. I should say it’s kind of an important game because we’re both 0-1 despite being like the 4th and 5th best scores. Going 0-2 and I especially always want to beat this friend.

I'd play Hollywood, he'd be worth one of those stretch the field scores. You cant fix that QB situation though?

I was thinking about it after last week, but I figured since I needed the risk-reward, Allen is the best guy for that.

But these guys are on the wire:
Carr (vs KC that looks good)
Rivers
Dalton
Trubbish
Cousins
Keenum

I feel Rivers has the most consistency in having big games, and has always been an underrated fantasy QB. At the same time Keenum could surprise again as a low floor, high upside play.

I think I lean Breida over Josh Gordon, though. With Tevin out in a great matchup, if you want the upside, I think it's there (PLUS there should be a good floor.) Brown makes perfect sense as a boom-or-bust against a terrible secondary without PatPete.
